Help Lower Textbook Costs for Students

Are you an instructor concerned about the impact of high textbook costs on your students? Want to learn more about open textbooks?

Open Textbook Network

Openly licensed course materials can help alleviate the burden of textbook costs for students and provide faculty with content that can be customized for their courses. The Open Textbook Library is supported by the Open Education Network and provides access to over 800 textbooks. The majority of these textbooks are peer-reviewed. Textbooks in the Open Textbook Library are considered open because they are free to use and distribute, and are licensed to be freely adapted or changed with proper attribution.

Attend the MTC Open Textbook Review Workshop and learn more about open textbooks in your field. After the workshop, if you write and submit a short review of an open textbook from the Open Textbook Library, you’ll receive a $200 stipend.
