The MTC Library offers resources to support dynamic learning.

LIFE SKILLS CENTER

Ensure your career success by obtaining the skills needed to achieve and maintain employment.

Free services include training on:

• Communication techniques
• Work ethic
• Financial literacy

COUNSELING SERVICES

Students can meet with a counselor for free personal, academic, or career counseling as well as disability services.
Types of counseling offered include:

•  Academic Counseling – Study skills, time management, and other college skills
• Career Counseling – Individual career plans, assessments, and educational options
• Personal Counseling – Coping skills, crisis management/interventions, lIfe transitions, sexual assault referrals, community agency referrals, and more

DISABILITY SERVICES

Counseling Services works to ensure that all educational programming and services are accessible to otherwise qualified students with disabilities. Disabilities can include, but are not limited to, blindness; visual impairment; deafness; hearing impairment; learning, physical, or psychological disabilities, medical conditions, ADD/ADHD, and head and spinal cord injuries.
Students must self-disclose as having a disability and request accommodations through Disability Services. The initial request should preferably occur prior to the beginning of a program or course.

VETERANS SUCCESS CENTER

MTC’s Veterans Success Center is a space created specifically for student veterans. Stop by the center for resources to help you succeed in college; veteran-to-veteran support; and a quiet space with free coffee, computer access, and printing!
