An Adobe Digital Editions account is needed to download and read e-books offline for most academic e-books, no matter the format or whether it will be read on a computer or mobile device. Both the download and the account are free.
E-books can be found by searching MTC Library's catalog or searching specific e-book databases found in our A-Z Database & Digital Resources List.
The MTC Library offers over 435,000 unique titles from various sources, each with its own reading platform. This guide is designed to help you navigate these differences, making it easy for you to access and enjoy the e-books you're interested in. Use the tabs on the left for specific guidance on the different platforms available through the library.
