Need help with a class? Academic Success Centers offer free individual tutoring, computer access, interactive educational programs, and even microscopes and slides.

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is an academic program funded through the US Department of Education for MTC students who meet specific criteria. Through intensive academic advisement and support, SSS helps students in the program to develop stronger academic skills.

MTC’s counseling staff assists enrolled students, potential students, and returning alumni in establishing personal and career goals.

Student Employment Services (SES) has the expertise, experience, and resources to make your job search easier.

The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) provides counseling and information on college admissions and financial aid to qualified adults who want to begin or continue a college education. Participants can receive assistance in applying to any vocational training program, college, or university.

The Office of the Registrar is the administrative body responsible for enrollment and degree verification, auditing a course, transcript requests, graduation, and etc. Many of these popular transactions can be done through MyMTC.

The state of South Carolina, the federal government, and Midlands Technical College offer many different scholarships, loans, grants, and work-study programs.

The role of the Office of Student Life is to augment students’ academic experience through co-curricular programming. The Office of Student Life, along with the Student Advisory Board, sponsors campus-wide events throughout the school year.
