The New York Times

MTC offers free access to the New York Times!

You must create your own account to access the NYTimes site and its mobile app.

Here are the steps to create your account from off-campus:

1. Go to https://nytimesineducation.com/

2. Click the "school access" link on the top right of the page

3. Search for Midlands Technical College in the "Find School" search box

4. Click the blue "Go" button under "Get Your Access Now"

5. Log in to your MTC Library account with your user id & password (first name + middle initial + last name as one word, & 6 digit date of birth)

6. Follow steps to create NYTimes account (must use your midlandstech email address!)

7. Sign up for email newsletters & follow instructions to download the NYTimes mobile ap (optional)
