November is Native American Heritage Month, a month to celebrate the contributions, cultures, traditions, and histories of Native People.

 

Native American Heritage Month

November is commonly referred to as Native American Heritage Month. It is also known as American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month.

Take this time to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of Native people and acknowledge their important contributions. Heritage Month is a fitting time to learn about Native tribes and the unique challenges Native people have faced in the past and continue to face in the present.
