Guidelines for submission
Stylus is open to any student taking classes at Midlands Technical College. Typically, it features student work in traditionally creative genres, such as fiction, memoir, poetry, painting, drawing, and photography. However, current editor Jared Demick has stated “we also want to blow apart the rather narrow manner in which ‘creativity’ is defined. This means we accept student work from all disciplines and modes that exhibit clever engagement with the theme." This includes multimodal and multimedia projects.
The deadline for submissions is typically the last full week of Fall and Spring semester classes. For more information, contact the Stylus editor at stylus@midlandstech.edu.
